Pantone 219 C is the official lilcoopr pink

There is only one official shade of LILCOOPR pink.  It’s Pantone 219 C.  When working with vinyl installers for my cars or doing graphics for my site, I have correctly picked the exact shade 100% of the time – even when compared with every shade of the rainbow.  How’s that for meant to be? :)

Youtube Channels: confessionsofaMINIac and lilcooprTV

I have two Youtube Channels about MNIs.  The first one “confessionsofaMINIac” is inactive due to being unable to sign in!  Google created a one-step sign-in for all Google products and the email for “confessionsofaMINIac” was also used for my Real Estate Youtube Channel.  Despite multiple emails back and forth with Google support, I cannot gain access to that account.  So those videos sit archived on the internet forever and “lilcooprTV” was born.  Has a nice ring to it, dontcha think?!

MINI United 2007. MINI United 2009. MINI United 2012.

MINI United 2007. MINI United 2009. MINI United 2012.

I’ve attended 3 of the 4 International MINI United events.  2007 in Zaandvoort, Netherlands.  2009 in Silverstone England, and 2012 in Le Castellet, France.  I also had a ticket for MINI United 2005 in Misano, Italy but couldn’t attend because it was held in October during my exam period in University!!

STELLA. STELLAtoo. ST3LLA. STELL4.

STELLA. STELLAtoo. ST3LLA. STELL4.

I’ve owned 4 MINIs (so far).  I started with a 2006 Cooper S named Stella, then a 2009 JCW Clubman named STELLAtoo, then a first-in-Canada 2012 Cooper S Coupe factory ordered named ST3LLA, now I am motoring in a 2013 Cooper S Convertible named STELL4.  YOLO (Carpe Diem for the 21st century).  I can’t pick a favourite.  I didn’t intend to name them all a variant of STELLA but it just stuck!

Nurburgring. Mosport. Silverstone. Circuit Paul Ricard. Circuit Park Zandvoort.

I’ve motored on 5 Formula 1 Tracks: Mosport, Silverstone, Zaadvoort, Circuit Paul Ricard, Nurburgring.  Some of those tracks are now inactive for F1 races, but the legendary motorsport history remains.  Also the Indianapolis Motor Speedway (Indy 500) oval at MINI Takes the States in 2010.

BMW Group Family (6+ MINIs, 8+ BMW products)

BMW Group Family (6+ MINIs, 8+ BMW products)

My family has owned 6 MINIs in 8 years (4 are/were mine, as outlined above, and 2 are/were my sister’s – she leases Coopers and had a Pepper White Cooper as her first and is now motoring in a special edition Baker Street Cooper).  7 BMW Group products if you add my Mom’s BMW 328xi Coupe to the mix… and will be 8 by the end of the year as she waits for her 428 xDrive delivery!  It all started with me and now we can’t imagine driving anything else.  How’s that for dedication to the brand?

Mixed Business with Pleasure for 7 years (from dealerships to BMW Canada)

I worked for BMW Group in some capacity for 7 years.  I started working for MINI in 2006 at MINI Waterloo (now relocated and renamed MINI Grand River).  I walked in, upset with the manager for how the department was handling my referrals.  I walked out with a job.  Then transferred to MINI Durham and worked full-time at BMW Canada’s BMW University training centre for employees.  My official job titles included “showroom greeter” -> “MINI Ambassador” -> BMW University “training coordinator”.  My responsibilities were everything from reception to sales to event planning to marketing and design to making coffee to organizing training schedules for all BMW/MINI sales/service dealer employees in Canada.  I left the company in 2012 to dedicate myself as a full-time Real Estate agent, but find myself continuing to unofficially work and give back to the brand in any spare time I can carve out.

LILCOOPR Custom Vanity License Plate

LILCOOPR Custom Vanity License Plate

There are a maximum of 8 letters allowed on custom license plates in the province of Ontario.  LILCOOPR is purposely spelled without the “E” in Cooper so it all fits.  By looking at my Google Analytics, many visitors to my website misspell “LILCOOPR” by adding the E… if you do, you used to a budding-rapper by the same name, but now Google redirects you to “Lily Cooper” (the singer Lily Allen got married and took her husband’s last name).

Blogging at Confessions of a MINIac for 9 Years and Counting!

Blogging about MINIs for 9 years: since 2005.  (Yes that was one year before I bought my first MINI!).  This blog started as “Fille de la Ville” in 2004, which means “City Girl” in French.  I changed the name to “Confessions of a MINIac” and was lucky to score the URL “miniac.blogspot.com”.  I am migrating to the WordPress platform to allow greater customization (and avoid the spam bots on Blogger!).  The migration of years of blogging and links is a slow process… bear with me on this please!

MINIac Friends Worldwide!

MINIac Friends Worldwide!

I will need more than 10 fingers to count all of the friends I’ve met because of my MINI.  I have MINI friends in more countries than I knew sold MINIs!  I am in touch with MINI friends worldwide on a daily basis.  I know their MINIs names, their kids’ names, their pets, their marital status (and/or spouse’s anniversary date), their last mods, the last time their MINI got a bath, their odometer readings, and more – just to name a few.  I count MINI friends as some of my closest friends.  It’s not in distance that we are close, but we are continuously drawn together by our mutual love for this incredible car.

Lucky Number 11 with STELL4

Lucky Number 11 with STELL4

My Birthday is 11/11 (November 11).  Related to that, or just a coincidence, the number 11 has always held significance for me.  When I found STELL4, my 2013 Convertible, I knew it was meant to be when the VIN ended in 1111.
